Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday 

Salary: between £40,000 and £50,000 pa DOE

Are you a detail-driven engineer with a passion for electrical systems and vehicle innovation? We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Electrical Design Engineer to join our Engineering team in Warwick!

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking designs from concept to production, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical systems for our specialist vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design 2D harnesses and select electrical components for heavy trucks
  • Collaborate with 3D design engineers and systems teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to secure installation and application approvals
  • Compile engineering master parts lists (BOMs) and design release documentation
  • Support product testing activities and analyse test results
  • Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree in Electrical or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in a relevant engineering environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems (EDS) and 2D harness design
  • Familiar with ISO standards for EDS and quality requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in problem-solving techniques such as 8D and A3
  • Experience with truck or chassis systems, and liaising with suppliers
  • Knowledge of Zuken E3, schematic design, or 3D harness routing is a bonus
